Buyers

Congratulations on getting up to 90% off retail prices!  You've already proved you're a savvy shopper that recognizes retail prices are for suckers.  But did you know Glyde's got your back all the way through your transaction?

Return Policy

Sometimes items aren't what you expected, and we understand that.  If your item is not As-Described, you can return it within 48 hours of delivery.  All you need to do is let us know! Simply choose one of these three options.

Once you've let us know that you want to return the item, we'll send you a pre-addressed, pre-stamped shipping kit.  Simply put your item in the kit, drop it in the mail, and you're done.  You'll have your money back for the item in a few days.

Repeat returns prompt a simple shared responsibility policy in which the shipping cost of the return is split between the buyer and seller, usually around $5.00.

Insurance Coverage

We've insured your item from the start with no extra fees.  Lost items are extremely rare, but if your Glyde item is lost in transit we'll make sure you don't pay for an item you didn't receive.

Cancellation Policy

Buyer's remorse?  You can always cancel your item up until the point we've sent your seller their shipping kit.  We ship these multiple times a day so make sure to submit your cancellation ASAP on the Transactions page of your account or drop us an email at service@glyde.com.

Sellers

Selling your old gadgets and media has never been easier.

Fees

You pay nothing to list on Glyde.  When your item sells, we deduct 12% on the first $100 of the item's sale price and 8% on the rest.  Depending on the item, it's $1.00-$3.50 for our exclusive shipping kit.

If you're unable to ship your item after it sells, please cancel your sale right away by visiting your Transactions page and clicking 'Cancel Sale'.  A packaging fee of up to $5 will apply if your shipping kit has already been prepared.  If you know you won't be sending your item, please don't leave us or your buyer in the dark.  A buyer protection fee of up to $10 will apply for sales that go unshipped without being promptly canceled.

Getting Paid

The best part of selling your items is the cash proceeds! Once an item is delivered, the buyer has a two-day period in which to evaluate and accept the item. If there are no issues with the item, your proceeds will be deposited into your Glyde account. The deposit will appear in your Glyde account 2-3 days after delivery.

You can use this money to buy items on Glyde, withdraw it directly to your banking or checking account for free, or have it mailed to you as a paper check for a $2.00 fee. Just click on the 'Withdraw' button in the upper right portion of your Account page and you will be presented with each option.

Return Policy

We know that your item is gently loved, but sometimes your item may not be what your buyer expected.  We let buyers have 48 hours from receipt of the item to return it if it's not As-Described.  If your item is returned, it will be shipped back to you so you can relist it.

Speed Sale

When listing select items for sale, you may be given the option to use Speed Sale. Speed Sale ensures the sale of your item within a few days. The number you see in the Speed Sale box represents guaranteed, in-your-pocket proceeds. The transaction fee and shipping kit cost have already been deducted.

If you’re looking for a quick, assured sale, Speed Sale is a great option. Within days, you’ll have a confirmed buyer and we’ll send you a shipping kit to ship your item.

Refer a Friend

Why keep a good thing all to yourself? Share Glyde with friends to earn bonuses and give discounts.

Visit glyde.com/refer and click on the Facebook and Twitter share buttons to send your unique Glyde link to your friends and followers. Earn $5 for every person who clicks on your link, signs up on Glyde, and completes a purchase or sale. We’ll send you an email with the good news and the $5 deposit when your referral’s purchase or sale is complete. Use your referral money to make a purchase on Glyde or withdraw it into your bank account.
