How to Wipe Your HTC Phone

Step 1

Touch Menu.

Step 2

Select Settings.

Step 3

Touch SD & Phone Storage.

Step 4

Touch Factory data reset.

Step 5

Touch Reset Phone and then touch Erase Everything.

Step 6

To deactivate your phone, call your carrier and ask them to disassociate the phone from your account.

You can also choose to wipe your SD Card. Follow the steps below to erase your SD Card Data.

Step 1

After clicking on Menu and selecting Settings, touch SD & Phone Storage.

Step 2

Touch Unmount SD card.

Step 3

Once the SD card unmounts, touch Format SD card.

Step 4

Touch Format SD card.

Step 5

Touch Erase Everything.

Step 6

To deactivate your phone, call your carrier and ask them to disassociate the phone from your account.
