iPhone Pricing on a Two-Year Contract
Apple stuck to its usual pricing formula for the new iPhone 5S. It starts at $199 for a 16GB model and scales up at $100 intervals as you add memory. The iPhone 5C is a new wrinkle this year. It comes in five colorful options and starts at $99 on contract.
If you're an iPhone 4 or 4S owner, you're likely at or near the end of your contract. Our iPhone Upgrade Tool might be the perfect place to price your upgrade and sale.
Not Due for an Upgrade?
If you're in the middle of your contract (Hello iPhone 5 owners!), your options will differ depending on your carrier. You've put some good money into your device and likely qualify for a partial discount on the iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C.
If your carrier doesn't offer a partial discount, your early termination fee could be minimal, and once paid, you could re-up for two years on the on-contract prices above. When you take into account those partial discounts and that you can make up to $365 by selling your iPhone 5 on Glyde, upgrading mid-contract doesn't seem as daunting as the unsubsidized prices above suggest.
When you can make hundreds selling your old iPhone on Glyde, upgrading early to the iPhone 5S or 5C is very doable. Click here to see how much you can make on your old device.
